At Granite House, New Hampshire, we believe the road to recovery is most effectively facilitated through a Sober Living environment. While utilizing principles established by twelve-step programs, the distinguishing features of sober living. Dedicated to teaching committed selflessness, and accountability, The Granite House strives to provide a sense of community and belonging for addicts and alcoholics in early recovery. Our residents are required to participate in a number of programs (including those patterned on the Twelve Step model) centered on the sober living philosophies that establish and reinforce a sense of self-worth, and provide a source of strength in the battle against addiction. In addition, our house managers and group leaders help residents to develop appropriate support processes in anticipation of leaving Granite House and returning to mainstream society.
