Pickford Lofts
The Pickford Lofts recognizes that each person has individual needs, strengths, and personal challenges. While embracing the 12-step model we also provide referrals for cognitive-behavioral therapy and other treatment modalities. Each person is treated as an individual with unique solutions to those needs. We recognize that individuals initiate sobriety for many reasons — some on their own, some via the court system. Activities include: Residents meeting, morning meditation, weekly family support meeting, 12-step work, work support and training, referrals for our local outpatient treatment, available gymnasium and recreational facility. The building provides 4 self-contained lofts, each with Corian kitchen, hardwood floors and laundry (maximum 4 persons per loft). The building also has central air and a shared gymnasium and recreational facility. Each loft contains a large living room with a flat-screen HD cable and DVD player, a sofa, two recliners, coffee & end tables, wireless high-speed internet access. A spacious dining area with additional counter seating opens into a newly-remodeled fully-stocked kitchen. this includes top/bottom refrigerator, double sinks, and 4 wood burner range top and oven. The appliances and sink are stainless steel. Additionally, a microwave toaster and blender are provided.
