The Gavin Foundation
is a multi-service agency
providing comprehensive, community- based substance abuse education, prevention and treatment.
Located in the South Boston neighborhood of Boston, the Foundation serves more than 1,000 individuals each year through its adult, youth and community programs.
Gavin Foundation works from a deep commitment to the community, including the widespread community of individuals and families in recovery.
In all areas, Gavin Foundation builds recovery by supporting relationships among individuals, within families and with communities.
The Foundation offers independent programs — residential, outpatient, juvenile justice diversion, 12-step study,
recidivism prevention, and parolee re-entry– and collaborative programs, such as a recovery high school, and recovery support for youth and young adults.
The Gavin Foundation, and its forerunner the Arch Foundation, have been alert to identify and respond to need and opportunity:
creating effective prevention and treatment programs for vulnerable populations, and innovative approaches built on fundamental principles and strong, productive alliances with the broader community.
