About Doing More

aboutdoingmoreWe are proud to announce About Doing More Summit,

a new, exciting gathering of pre-eminent published author survivors of abuse, violence, and tradgies, particularly those with a healthy, positive public speaking message about their personal healing journey and life accomplishments.

We are interested in the exchange of knowledge from experiences, regarding our life healing journey, accomplishments, publishing and successful attempts at moving forward.

Our intent is to provide a comfortable, non-competitive atmosphere for survivor/authors to sell their books, offer presentations, participate in quality discussions, mingle with others who have healed and done more in life than just survive.

After 25 years of claiming his “survivor” label, author Hank Estrada’s successful and accomplished life no longer fit the criteria of simply remaining a “survivor.”

Hank learned all he needed to know about being victimized, its lasting effects and the recurring challenges survivors face, confrontations with issues and the exploration of new avenues to a healthier, happier life.

In sharing his message of hope, Hank found others who have equally inspiring stories of healing and moving forward. Unfortunately, we just don’t have the opportunity to experience this with one another. This common, mutual and often unspoken experience is what prompted and motivated Hank to development and organize the “About Doing More Summit”.

The summit features survivor/authors of abuse, violence and trauma which includes a mix of notable and new.

The Summit will offer insightful presentations, discussion opportunities with featured author speakers, book signings, after-hours hosted ‘Open Mic’ spoken word poetry slam and door prizes are just a few of the exciting featured activities currently planned.
