provides person-centered, community-based services to individuals with developmental disabilities and mental illness throughout New Jersey. With innovative training methods that offer a holistic approach designed to assist each individual to become self sufficient, we are changing the way these individuals perceive themselves and are helping them achieve independence and a life of meaning. Through our support programs, we teach people with a dual diagnosis of developmental disability and mental illness the skills they need to have a life of their own, and assist them with their daily lives in order to get to that point. While many agencies offer a “one size fits all” model of case management, Declarations provides behavioral intervention, direct skills training, housing and community integration techniques that assist each individual to achieve their own personal goals. Declarations programs are designed to achieve tangible results.
