A charitable organization that is a support system for those who are suffering from the disease of addiction. Our open door policy allows anyone who has a desire for help with their addiction to come to our offices for assistance without waiting for an appointment.
Focus was created in the spring of 1993, and was founded by two addiction counsellors who recognized a gap in the “helping services” system. The program’s education training efforts commenced in August of 1993 at the Salvation Army’s Shelter located on North Street in Hamilton.
