Recovering Matters is comprised of several structured sober living environments located in Houston, Tx.
Our program provides young recovering addicts with a safe and comfortable environment that promotes growth through recovery and sober living.
We provide daily, weekly, and monthly agendas that will include 12 step meetings, working the 12 steps with a sponsor, outdoor activities with other men and women in recovery, 24 hour house supervision, daily work out routines,
escorts to and from all probation and court hearings, and fellowship in our community. We work with drug and alcohol addiction treatment centers throughout the Houston area to help continue the ongoing needs of our residents. Sober living becomes a way of life.
Our residents learn life skills with daily chores such as cooking, cleaning, budgeting, laundry, and yard maintenance. Residents build confidence in themselves and there fellows by completing projects for the community.
Let’s say you wanted to speak Spanish. You would not be able to learn it by hanging around a group of people who don’t speak it themselves.
What if you moved into the home of a family that spoke it daily, that lived the culture, and surrounded itself with activities that engulfed itself in the community?
