Tucson. Located on a scenic 34-acre campus in the foothills overlooking Tucson, Cottonwood is a clinical and academic partner of the University of Arizona School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry. The Cottonwood is dedicated to the compassionate and sophisticated treatment of addiction to drugs and alcohol, including depression, anxiety and bipolar disorder. We are also pioneers in the treatment of trauma, impulse-control difficulties like pathological gambling, work and sex addiction, eating disorders and relational dysfunction and codependency. In a climate of understanding and safety, our highly trained clinicians, many with hard-earned personal experience with recovery from addictions and mood disorders, skillfully address underlying issues that support addictions and mood problems, as well as maladaptive attitudes, perceptions and beliefs that may cause a return to self-destructive behaviors.
