After someone has finished a residential program or a detox service, they may require support and accountability to stay free from drugs and alcohol. Through our partial hospitalization program in Massachusetts, our patients find the assistance they need to get through the beginning of recovery as they attend treatment for roughly eight hours a day and return home or to a sober living community afterward. As a result, they can be present with their families or focus on additional outpatient care plans in the evenings.
While a partial hospitalization program will not provide around-the-clock support like residential treatment, it gives a comparable level of accountability and structure. Patients have a certain level of freedom and flexibility but, it’s important to remember this is the most intensive form of outpatient care.
When our patients enroll in our partial hospital programs in Massachusetts at Chapters Recovery Center, they’ll be able to find a full range of on-site therapy for addiction and mental health disorders. That’s because this type of care offers additional support for psychiatric issues as well as substance use disorders.
